Children's Air Ambulance
Funded entirely by charitable donations, the Children’s Air Ambulance carries out lifesaving work transporting seriously ill children to specialist hospitals across the UK. We have worked with the organisation for several years and were tasked with raising awareness of the invaluable work of the charity and impact it has on families, while unveiling two new helicopters at a star-studded Lambeth Palace garden party, hosted by the Duke of York.
We know how powerful personal stories can be, so we worked with patients and their families and arranged for them to share their positive experiences of the Children’s Air Ambulance with the media. Working with our trusted contacts we set up interviews at the event itself, providing the opportunity not only to speak to the families but also to see – and try – the new helicopters. Celebrities were also interviewed on the day, providing additional content for media.
Working closely with ITV’s This Morning we created a broadcast feature which aired the week following the event showcasing the case studies, celebrity interviews and even a trip in a helicopter.
We achieved national press coverage in titles including The Daily Mirror, The Express, Hello and Mail Online as well as a double page spread in The Express ahead of the launch event.
Awareness of the charity raised and all pieces were of positive sentiment.
